What we build
Pavers, concrete and the ground under both.
Each service page walks through the work, the options, what shapes the project and what to have ready before we come out.

Compare
Pavers or poured concrete?
Patios, walkways and driveways can be built either way. Here is how the two differ.
Poured concrete
Interlocking pavers
- Surface
- Concrete:One continuous slab, poured in place.
- Pavers:Individual units laid tight against each other.
- Look
- Concrete:A finish texture, such as broom, smooth trowel or exposed aggregate.
- Pavers:A laid pattern, such as herringbone or running bond, often with a border.
- Joints
- Concrete:Control joints, tooled or cut, so cracking tends to follow a planned line.
- Pavers:Sand-filled joints that lock the units together.
- Underneath
- Concrete:A compacted base, forms and reinforcement where the job calls for it.
- Pavers:A compacted base, an even bedding layer and an edge restraint.
- Repairs
- Concrete:A damaged section is usually cut out and poured again.
- Pavers:Units in the affected area can be lifted and reset.
